Three times a year, Studio Edelweiss organizes a photography workshop in the south of France.
​
Are you an (amateur) photographer and would you like to take your photography to a higher level? Then our intensive photography workshop with a focus on staged photography is definitely for you!
​
Beginners who dare to join us for a whole week are also welcome!
What will you learn?
​
Basic digital photography
Theory of the camera and light
​
Basic Adobe Photoshop, Bridge and Lightroom
Use of flashes and light shaping tools
​
Use of studio flashes on location: mixture of natural light and flash light.
​
Development concept from start to finish: production, recordings and post production.
​

Where?
​
During the course we stay in a beautiful villa at an ideal distance from both beach and mountains. You can relax in between the workshops in the large garden or at the sky-blue swimming pool.
​
The ideal place to enjoy the colorful Cathar country: the characteristic hills, Mediterranean Sea and fine wines.
​

In the morning we take a French breakfast, in the afternoon a light lunch and in the evening we dine extensively in a gastronomic style. Food is provided by Captain Hook's experienced chef.
​
Local wine and water is always included with dinner.
​
What is included?

7 nights.

3 meals a day (except arrival and departure day), prepared by our chef, including one barbecue. If you wish, you can also ask for vegetarian meal.

2 day trips in the region.

What is not included?

Transport to the villa (by car to Sigean, flying with Ryanair to Carcassonne or by TGV via Narbonne).

Alcoholic drinks, other than local wine with dinner (other alcoholic drinks are available on site and can be purchased).

Photo material. You bring your own material.

Personal travel insurance + insurance of your photo material.

Price
​
The number of participants is minimum 4 and maximum 8. If the workshop cannot take place due to too few participants or due to force majeure, the registration fee will be fully refunded.
